The city is trying to deal with the Madness. Fortunately the source is discovered and people warned, but it will take some time for the effects of the black blood to wear off. Raidou remains at Alucard's side at the clinic.

The Witches invade the city with help from zombies, spiders and ants. Raidou leaves the clinic to fight off the enemy and manages to rescue Edgeworth from the ravens that are kidnapping people. However, in the process, he gets captured himself...

The captived are brought to the Grand Canyon, where half of them are shut in a cell to become Kishin Egg food. They might still be considered lucky, however, as the other half is subjected to the Morality Manipulation Machine, causing their personalities to reverse. The new Raidou takes the opportunity to sneer at the prisoners and revel in the situation.

Those left in Death City are preparing for the rescue mission.

The rescue mission begins, with Edgeworth, Genesis and Alucard coming to search for Raidou. He does not come willingly, and in a moment of madness strikes down Edgeworth. The shock is enough for Alucard to snap him out of it and bring him back to Death City, where he has to wait for the prosecutor to recover. As it seems there will be no visitors allowed for the day, Raidou stops to apologize to Kanji before heading home with Alucard.

If there is something pleasant in the midst of all this, it's that Roy comes back. Raidou goes to speak with Edgeworth in the clinic. Some people don't seem to be willing to go there even when they should.

It's fortunate Raidou happens to be staying up late, as Lily returns just past midnight in a rather bad condition. Roy informs the network of the sad news of Dojima's death during the attack. After morning training, it's time for the interview with Naoto, though not before Raidou talks with Minato while waiting for his turn.

With Valentine's Day coming up, Dave is trying to find Edgeworth a date. Raidou should probably just stay out of these things in the future. He and Alucard take a mission in Norway, but end up failing and having to retreat.

New arrivals begin to flood the network. A Norse god joins the array of deities and Nanako is looking for her dad. Bakura laments the loss of another friend, but cheers up enough to visit Raidou and Alucard like the good neighbour he is.

Valentine's Day begins with everyone finding a box of chocolates at their door. Assuming it's just another custom he didn't know about, Raidou eats one... and finds himself hugging every person he meets. Which is quite awkward when he has to leave the house to visit Naoto and Lily.

The day begins with more news of murders. Raidou drops by morning training and speaks with Kenshin before he and Alucard take a mission in Russia. After successfully hunting down a Kishin Egg, they return home. It's at this point that Raidou reaches a new resolve...

Norway is under attack by Kishin Eggs. Raidou and Alucard head out into the battle and later run into Cinderella and Utena. Just as the battle seems to be over, the country is shaken by an earthquake, causing a tsunami to flood the coast.

Raidou is returned home by BREW. Once his old case is wrapped up, he goes back to his home village to continue his training, his memories of Death City growing weaker with each passing day.
