It's the start of a new month, and people are starting to bring up Christmas a lot. Raidou is only vaguely aware of the holiday; should he ask someone about it...?

As December kicks off, Raidou is busy with work and preparing his move to Death City Heights with Alucard. By evening he's hungry enough to decide to stop by the Northern Lights restaurant, where Roy is enjoying his vacation.

The winter is getting colder. Raidou eventually decides to ask what kind of things one is supposed to do for Christmas, and uses the same post to let people know about his new partnership, after which he and Alucard go out to eat some pizza. The agency gets a new member, Rei announces the opening of her photo gallery (and blows up her microwave), and Soul and Maka have good news for everyone: Soul is now a Deathscythe!

It's a wet morning, and a lot of stuff happens during the training. Raidou spars with Kaoru, trains with Alucard, and tries to help Clare get her bearings. It also appears that people a receiving their prize for completing Excalibur's quests, though it's not quite what anyone was expecting. More gentlemanly people show up, and Luna wants to talk to the moon. Hey, it could work.

No better way to spread the holiday spirit than hold a Christmas festival! Raidou and Alucard participate in the pie baking contest (it seemed like a good idea at the time -- wait, they won?!), and Raidou takes a moment to see Rei while waiting for the results. The atmosphere turns somber as Yosuke has an accident, landing John in the clinic and inadvertently triggering painful memories for Rei. Once she's calmed down, Raidou tries to get back into the party mood for a while, visiting Luke and somehow ending up having dance lessons with Franziska. After chatting a bit with Edgeworth, Bumblebee, and Jules, he meets up with Alucard again, and the two try to learn to skate because why not. Thankfully, John makes it out okay.

News of Shibusen West European agents disappearing on missions cause concern over the network. Raidou discusses the situation with Choushiro and Clare, answers Yukari's questions about finding a job, and chats withmom Rei.

Raidou is invited to Luke and Asch's surprise birthday party. Somewhat more pressingly, Death the Kid makes an announcement regarding the crisis in Europe. Raidou and Alucard volunteer for the mission to assist the efforts to get things back under control. There's not much time for preparation as Near alerts the authorities to Ryoki's rampage in the Red Light District. The Detective Agency sets out to see just what the guy's been up to.

The Liechtenstein agents try theit best to evacuate the citizens, but no one seems too eager to leave. Kuroro suggests they go clear the way to Germany the next day. Unbeknownst to any of them, Gamzee is going into a rampage back in Death City and stabbing a bunch of people - and landing Rei into a coma.

Although Gamzee has been captured, Death City now has trouble with Madness Wavelength induced by crazy Christmas shoppers, which in turn attracts Kishin Eggs. Lucerne and Linz are also suddenly attacked by Kishin Eggs - as well as something else. The Liechtenstein agents split up to help the other bases, but Lucerne is lost. Raidou and Alucard go to help in Linz, expecting to find the usual Kishin Eggs. What they end up facing is a lot worse...

After the failure against a Black Clown, Raidou and Alucard are sent back to Death City a couple days early and get stuck in the clinic to lick their wounds and worrying over how many people have been hurt in their absence.

While continuing to recover, Raidou hits up the network to check up on Naoto and, like a true workaholic, offer to help with a charity drive before he's even out of hospital. It's also about time to confront his partner about just what happened back during the mission.

It's Christmas Eve, and people are getting into holiday spirits despite everything. Raidou visits Yako to exchange presents and comes back with sweet, sweet cake. It seems even Edgeworth's Christmas has been saved, as Gregory is suddenly brought back after being taken away by BREW. Of course, the right way to celebrate Christmas is to go to church, especially when your partner is a devout Christian.

Yosuke is doing well and has made a new friend during the holidays. Raidou is happy to finally get rid of the cast on his arm and go train! He spars with Naoto and practices with Alucard because what is resting. Franziska seems more or less satisfied with her presents, whereas... well... Apparently Edgeworth having his father back was too good to last for long.
